Desero Jacare is looking for its first team member !

A Melbourne womenswear label creating effortlessly elevated pieces with personality, with a growing community in Australia and internationally.

I’m looking for someone organised, proactive and enthusiastic who loves fashion and would enjoy being involved in both the practical and creative sides of a clothing brand.

You’ll work closely with me in our Richmond studio, while also taking ownership of your tasks and working independently. I’d love someone who takes pride in their work, enjoys variety and is excited to develop their skills and grow with Desero Jacare long term.

YOUR ROLE

Your main focus initially will be customer service and packing orders, looking after our customers and making sure their pieces are carefully prepared and sent on time.

Alongside this, you’ll get involved in content, marketing, creator gifting, events and improving our systems. We’ll plan priorities together each week based on what’s happening in the business.

You’ll have support as you learn, clear priorities and room to take ownership. You’ll help make the everyday running of Desero Jacare smoother.

CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE

Manage customer enquiries, returns, exchanges and delivery follow-ups with clear, thoughtful communication.
Identify recurring questions, turning customer feedback into practical recommendations. Taking on feedback to improve systems and customer experience.

ECOMMERCE & FULFILMENT

Pick, check, pack and dispatch customer orders, making sure the correct styles, colours and sizes are sent.
Process physical returns and exchanges, checking garment condition and updating stock records.
Receive incoming deliveries, check quantities and flag any discrepancies or faults.
Help with stocktakes and keep inventory, samples and packaging supplies organised.
Keep the packing area and studio tidy and ready for the day’s work.
Help prepare garments and samples for creator gifting, photoshoots, pop-ups and retail partners.
Ability to anticipate issues, communicate and action areas of improvement.

SYSTEMS & PROCESSES

Identify repetitive work that can be simplified through systems, processes and automation tools.
Help improve workflows across customer service, content and ecommerce administration.

MARKETING, PR & CREATOR RELATIONSHIPS

Help execute tasks and marketing ideas, working closely with me to bring ideas to life.
Research creators, brands and potential partners who align with Desero Jacare.
Coordinate approved outreach, gifting, product loans and follow-ups
Build thoughtful relationships and maintain clear records of content, commitments and results.
Identify relevant PR and collaboration opportunities.
Support marketing for new products, restocks, promotions and events.
Email marketing
Ensure messaging reflects Desero Jacare’s tone, aesthetic and audience across customer touchpoints.

TIKTOK & CONTENT CREATION

Help develop and execute a TikTok strategy tailored to Desero Jacare’s audience, brand identity and business goals. Develop original ideas, hooks and recurring series with the potential to spark trends.
Coordinate filming, edit footage and manage agreed scheduling and publishing.
Review performance, test new approaches and recommend improvements.
Assist with photoshoot and campaign concept direction

EVENTS & COMMUNITY

Help plan and coordinate pop-ups, brand events and collaborations.
Develop ideas to grow and engage the Desero Muses community through content, customer participation and collaborations.

Comfortable with hands-on work, including packing orders, preparing garments and moving stock and cartons.

Reliable and interested in an ongoing role with room to grow alongside the brand.
